A double jacquard cardigan inspired by Chimayo rugs.

New Mexico was a state I visited on my first trip there in 2000. I recreated the unique feel of Chimayo fabric and deliberately used an argyle pattern on both sleeves.

It has a relaxed fit with loose shoulders and body width, so it can be worn loosely and I have a feeling I'll be reaching for it more often than not.

Another great thing about boucle yarn is that it is fluffy and therefore has better heat retention than regular straight yarn.

The back features a washable leather "The American" patch.
