ブランド名“melple”の語源はmellow peopleからの造語。

アメリカ各地を旅した2000年。

精神的なゆとりがあり、豊かなライフスタイルを送る人々。　

特にカリフォルニアに流れるゆるやかでメローな空気感に魅了され、

その後も数えきれない程に旅をしてインスピレーションを受けてきた。

そんなデザインソースを基にして日本の高い技術や厳選した生地をハイブリッドさせる事で

他には無いプロダクトを生みだしている。
