My staple fleece

私の定番フリース

Yesterday I went shopping in Ginza.
I used to go there a lot, but I only go occasionally these days, so it's a new experience for me.
On the way back, I walked down Chuo Dori and felt the GINZA atmosphere.

When it gets cold, is the first thing you want an outerwear?
Last year was a warm winter so some people probably didn't buy outerwear, and this year is expected to be a cold winter so I'm sure there are many people who are looking for outerwear.

If you are undecided, I would definitely recommend this place!

In winter, what's important is not only what outerwear you wear, but also what you wear underneath!
This will make a big difference in warmth,
The first thing is when you take off your nice outerwear...
I feel like there are quite a few people who are like, "Oh no..." when it comes to their fashion sense (laughs).
It is often said that style starts from the feet, but in winter fashion, you have to enjoy layering and knitwear when you take off your outerwear.
In the summer, it's too hot to layer up, so it's winter, so let's enjoy fashion to our heart's content.

So today I'd like to introduce my go-to mid-layer.

"Marced Stand Neck"

Fleece is a really useful item to have when it gets chilly!
The fleece has a retro classic feel.
This is an updated model from an OUTDOOR brand from the late 90s.

The shoulders and body width are finished with a slightly loose and rough feel.

The distinctive neckline is made with water-repellent nylon taffeta.

This will protect your neck from the wind, making it a great inner layer for winter.
It's useful as an outerwear for early spring.

The left chest pocket has a metal pull tab, which adds an accent to the design.

This is a utility pocket that can easily fit a cell phone or wallet.

There are also slit pockets on both sides.
The fleece is soft to the touch and has been treated with anti-pilling agents to prevent pilling.

Of course it goes well with outdoor styling, but it also goes well with pants with beautiful silhouettes such as winter cat, which is melple's specialty.
This time I tried matching it with the new ``Beach Tailor Courduroy Pants'' .
The overall combination of black and charcoal creates a calm and playful casual style.

On the other hand, the beautiful ocean blue has a retro outdoor feel to it, and I really love it.

I think that in winter, dark-toned outfits will inevitably become more common, so
It's also nice to try out some pretty colors.

I hope you all enjoy coordinating your winter outfits!

The neon lights in Ginza are beautiful, but I like the local lights the most.
