How is everyone spending their Golden Week?
I can't go on trips, and CAMP is too crowded...I can't go anywhere!
I think there are many people like that.
Luckily the weather is nice, so it's perfect for a stroll or a run around the neighborhood.
I've been digging through old magazines and reading them to come up with ideas for projects.
This POPEYE issue is one of several I bought in bulk at a second-hand bookstore; the January 1980 issue is still full of standard items for men and items that make me want to wear them again after a long time.
I feel like it encapsulates the feeling of fashion revolving around it.
The fun thing about fashion is that it is constantly being updated and released with new features such as style, size, and fabric.
The item I'm introducing today is also a reminiscence of my junior high school fashion!? Or rather... (lol)
It is based on school uniforms but with my own personal touches added.
『 SGSLACKS Naughty Cargo NC301-FL 』
" SG ." comes from SETAGAYA, the place where I was born and raised.
It was released last year and was inspired by the school uniforms worn by the bad boys around me in middle school.
I am also from the generation that was heavily influenced by Be-Bop High School (laughs).
"Naughty" is based on the bell-bottom pants worn by delinquents.
The two models released so far, " SG SLACKS Naughty N201 " and " SGSLACKS Naughty N201-organic ", have tapered hems and are the so-called Hiroshi-style bell-bottom style.
On the other hand, the new item released this time is a pair of bell-bottoms that features a chunky, toru-shaped silhouette .
What on earth are Hiroshi and Tohru? If you don't know what they are, please Google them (lol)
I just want to convey that the idea was inspired by bontans, so you can just gloss over it.
I would like to introduce these pants from a fashion perspective.
This pair of pants has a wide silhouette and is not tapered at the hem, giving it a bold and impactful look.
These pants are not simply made thicker , but are a confident product that has undergone repeated subtle adjustments to the silhouette, in keeping with melple's style of pants.
The large two-tuck design on the front and cargo pockets on both sides add volume.
If you think of this as the feeling of wearing wide military pants, it will be easy to think of this as a new standard.
The cargo pockets on the sides have a neat finish .
It's very important to have a neat and tidy cargo pocket in combination with a thick silhouette!
If the cargo pockets are too bulky, it will make the garment look more like workwear.
The waist part uses a buckle made by the German company FIDLOCK, which allows for quick release with one touch .
The red tab is a great accent for the look.
The details that have become synonymous with the SG series are still present!
The right back pocket is shifted to the side and comes with a "mobile phone pocket" designed to prevent your mobile phone from getting in the way even when you are seated.
So it's a watch that boasts a lot of design and details...
In fact, the fabric is great too!
This fabric is made from high-density gabardine, hand-picked Indian cotton that is spun without losing any of its oils or fats.
I am very satisfied with the moist, rich and supple texture of the finished product,
It is also water repellent and has been treated to prevent pollen from sticking to it .
Another great thing about it is that it has a completely different functionality than it looks.
I chose black because it gives off a Bontan vibe!
As you can see, the pile bolero goes well with any pants (lol)
I think it's a must-have for the coming season.
I also paired it with the ` `Side Walk Shirts '' that I introduced the other day.
The wide pants and loose-fitting overshirt were very comfortable.
On the other hand, beige has a unique iridescent sheen and firmness, making it look more fashionable.
It would also look good paired with a white B/D shirt.
Although this item is named after the delinquent bontan, it is sure to please serious people who like fashion.
If you're someone who used to be a delinquent, try these out and reminisce about those days (lol).
