A knit tee for adults with a retro surf feel.

The design of a favorite 70's striped tee has been faithfully reproduced in a slightly more elegant knit version.

I've always loved stripes, especially Hang Ten, and I guess my feelings were conveyed when I was asked by the original brand to help with their rebranding, which I have fond memories of (laughs).

I have fond memories of rummaging through second-hand clothes in California and Japan and buying clothes that I liked the pattern of, even if they were too small for me to wear.

When I asked myself what kind of stripes I wanted to wear in 2023, the answer was "knit" which has a slightly more mature feel.

However, we wanted to create something that is so faithful to the style of the time that it would not be recognizable at first glance as a knitted item, so we put a lot of care into it.

And in order to create the ultimate knitwear that has all the perfect features such as anti-pilling, quick-drying, dry touch, and easy care, we chose yarn made from traditional Japanese washi paper.

It looks like a T-shirt, but it's not a T-shirt! In our 20th anniversary year, we have created another product that we are very proud of.
